Growing

They grow and leave

An eternity life without them seems.

They change and travel.

Childhood bonds only memories fond,

Pictures now only memories.

Images and stories speak.

They grow and leave,

Like the leaves upon a tree.

The tree is bare all winter long,

Until spring shouts its joyous song.

They grow and leave,

New memories weave.

New memories with stories keep.

Family as you grow and leave

Always do come back to me.
