Growing up

With Little eyes twinkling
I was introduced to the world
Perhaps everything seemed unfamiliar
But being the most loved one in demand.

From rolling around to crawling
My first step was indeed unforeseen
Every child needs a gentle hand
To guide them along the path.

Cherishing every moment
Feeling the immense joy of being a kid
Never thought it was the foremost part of
My life, My childhood.

We reap, we rue
Engaging in scuffles
Supple moments hurling you
It was time to take your side.

Reclining comfortably on mother's lap
To crying hopelessly under the shower
Under many hardships
We all grew up!
