Guns and Suicide

If you shoot a gun
But no one is around to hear it
Does it make a sound?
If I can't see my blood
Am I bleeding?

I didn't hear the bullet
I didn't even hear it
Deafening and destructive
Silence was all that was left
Bitter and sweet
The taste of metal in my mouth
The ringing in my ear dissipating within
A moment in time defining a moment in time
Which would end it

There was no space for breath
No time to scream
It's over
