Had I Felt The Rain

I am not one to pour from an empty cup,
But there is sanity outside of this chaos
And if weakness is what I have to show,
do not doubt my ability to fall to my knees
Being vulnerable has never been my strong suit
But if it means recovery is possible,
I will straighten my tie and lift my chin
I will know what if feels like to be the rainbow
Through the beatings of hail
This road may be long,
and to my deathbed it may lead
But If there is one thing I am sure of
Let it be that I am satisfied with the pain that I endured
in order to feel this love
