Hagalaz come with your crushing blow,
Pelting upon my soul your mighty hail.
In the moments where sheer darkness grows,
Just know I will prevail.

Come gallop forth with your mighty axe,
And dare to swing on me.
I'll bravely shield my heart from your attacks,
With righteous chivalry.

Expose my soul to the war,
Try to rip it into shreds.
Pick the scab from my sore,
And examine how it bled.

Do as you wish Hagalaz,
For I am not at your mercy.
I am stronger today than I was,
And as an opponent, you're not worthy.
