Handprint On Ice

A knowing concern
To hands of all changes
An unseasonal turn
Attending circumspect ranges
The fall of the wild
A testament to revival
That rattles the child
And lulls his thrill for survival
When is the question
That now can be answered
With divine intervention
Haphazardly incurred
In the message sent
Of the common fareweal
That the damage was spent
For generalities to quell
Then the child will arise
From insulated slumber
And trample mediocrity’s sighs
For our flight to encumber
