Hanging Gardens of Versailles

She syphoned the light from the sun
Kissed me and filled my lungs
Until the field within my chest bloomed
Precipitation from my eyes created the hanging gardens of Versailles
Where Romeo and Juliet were laid to rest
Under the buttons of my vest
Dig up the roses thriving below
Let us sweat until the chills feel like snow
Trapped in your eyes with the sunshine glow
I've tried to take it slow but my soul whispers no
With all my doubts housed under the crows
These things gather when dead things show.
