Happily Married

I for one live alone
In a world cold, dark and unknown
Exists is the shell of my heart floating at sea
Nothing altered my pile of life's vile
That smelled of doom and misery
Until a handsome and empathic man
Asked me to take his hand

Further extant is my beloved redemptive earl
As the evening's moon and exultant stars sinuously unfurl
Nested together happily and well are their spirits of benign swirl

United tenderly inside their hearts
Is their endless promises to never part
