Someone once asked me,
“Can’t you write something happy?”

And the answer I’ll give you is this,
“How can I write something I’m not?”
Because I write the best when I’m in the dark.
When I’m hurt,
Or broken.

I don’t write for the public
Do not tell me what to write
When I couldn’t care less,
Whether you read it or not
I write for myself,
Not for you
It’s fine if you do read it
But just don't criticize
What was made for someone else

If you want me to write something happy,
Then the door is right there

But careful, my dear,
Society is far colder
Than I ever will be
