Have you ever?

Have you ever looked in the eyes of numb and cold soul?
Have you ever listened to the silent cries his voice constantly holds back?
Have you watched how he avoids eye contact so no one can see the tears he hides?
Have you looked into his eyes and saw the pain he constantly carries?
Have you offered your hand in friendship?
Or maybe a hug for strength and covering to a kid that feels he is all alone in this mean world?
Walk a mile in the shoes of a man that is broken and tell me how far you get.
Take a tour in his mind and see why he forgot how to smile.
Or better yet look at his dreams and see why he forgot the last time he was happy.
So who's going to be the rock when the rock crumbles and falls apart?
Do you think you're strong enough for that job?
