Have You Seen

You see my hair,
You see my clothes,
You see my makeup.

You see my media,
You see my money,
You see my mask.

You see what I want you to see,
And you have seen anything but me.

You haven't seen my scars,
You haven't seen my tears,
You haven't seen me downing those pills.

You haven't seen my wrists,
You haven't seen my fears,
You haven't seen my 2 a.m. panics.

So now you know you haven't seen me.

But you could soon,
Because my scars are bleeding,
My makeup is running,
And my mask is breaking.
