Distorted visions blurred away,
As another day sees it's end.
All my thoughts rest in shame,
As yet another day begins.
Tauntless whispers reach my ears,
As darkness fades to dust.
And all I do is sit and stare
As longing turns to lust.
Ashen feathers strike me down,
Scaring the hands of faith.
And all the love that once was found,
Distinguishes the false of grace.
Mercy pleads it's tarnishing lies,
And the haze of the allusion dissipates.
