he said he wouldn't dare but
he just turned away as if
he didn't care.
he finished every bottle
he savored the last drop
he said it didn't matter
he said at any moment
he could stop
he never saw the pain he caused
he never tried to see
he only thought of himself and
he left alone only me
he didn't bother with anyone unless
he could drink, you see...because
he was not just anyone
he was the drunken me
