Heads and Tails

I was one penny short of giving you my two cents
so I stole it because you'll never see me beg
Blood is thicker than water but not as thick as thieves
because committing a crime is the most committed I've ever been
You can't buy anything with one cent anyways
but at least with two I can tell you what I always meant to say
We were two sides of the same coin
too similar to ever see eye to eye
