Neither in scripts divine nor in the noblest minds,
Neither in summers' clime nor in wintry shrines-
I search my soul's desire.
Oh! What have we made of Nature?

The clamouring nations debate man-made barriers-
The anguished footfalls of the long-gone soldiers,
Oh! I am appalled at human nature.

The migrant woman's blistered feet;
The flaming forests of the Amazon deep,
Oh, Behold! bleeds, Mother Nature.

The animals in eternal Treblinka breathe,
They are banished to be laboratory gigs.
Oh! I stare aghast, at these muted creatures.

Look to Nature for it is augured to kill-
The Janus of Human Frailty and Greed,
Paradisal bliss on earth's every mead-
Human, Animal and Nature in Trinity heal!
