Heart Lessons

Lessons are learned at different speeds.
What some learn fast, may come slower to me.
Perceptions, thought patterns, for each remain.
God's indelible mark, no two the same.

Lessons of the heart, can be challenging for all.
But I do know one thing, pertaining to most.
Hearts mend with love that once had us broken.
Renewed with hope and trust, God's beautiful creation.

This Poems Story

I just started writing poetry, mostly from my life experiences. "Heart Lessons" is very personal to me. I'm a single mother, graduating with my masters degree in nursing next year. My daughter also graduates from college next year. My belief in God's healing power inspires most of my writings.
