Heartbeat Out Of View

A midnight drive, don't know where I'm headed.
I just got the news and my head's in collision.
My eyes are pleading to the fucking moon
and my lips are on fire;
screaming out loud as I'm spinning tires!
No, we never said goodbye,
just got so high until the next time.
No, we never fucking said goodbye!
I got your mother blowing up my phone.
I'm not ready nor prepared for this,
have to get out of here before I lose it!
So, so sick of death's motherfucking grip!
Declining call after call.
I'm feeling so torn.
Oh, so small.
Eyes still set on the moon,
reasoning for a way to reach you.
I promised I would fight for you
no matter what obstacle blockaded me,
but oh so raging was the sea!
My heart is breaking piece by piece ...
I have your favorite song playing on repeat,
but it still holds no justice.
