Heartbreak Slumber

Two puddles of salty water fill my glassy eyes;
Forming two small lakes flowing into lonely rivers.
Racing down my flushed cheeks, my lips begin to tremble.
Rivers stop and my pillow is soaked by sorrow, my body feels numb.
I fall into heartbreak slumber hoping I don't remember.
