Heaven's Stars

Incessant wheels, how fate turns in heaven's stars;
How I love fooling around in heaven's stars.

Not far from the tip where ink flows into words
I feel the grinding of corn in the silences of heaven's stars.

We are persistent, we melt the gold into the shapes of dreams;
We specialize in bringing god-thought from heaven's stars.

Enrich us Emanuel, give us ease in gardens of pleasure.
Not because we deserve. It's just the way in heaven's stars.

And the books, the volumes stack higher and higher,
Teeter in pretense as we wander through heaven's stars.

Johain, not much need to sit and read in the library's dim light.
Just walk awhile and sing your praise under heaven's stars.

That will be enough, achievement is a silly word anyway,
And not as beautiful a being just walking under heaven's stars.
