Her

By

She grew up with little attention
Where everything she did was wrong
Held to a higher expectation
In a world that hates her glow
Thinking she was never good enough
Always thinking of ways to escape
Wanting something more
Needing approval from everyone around her
Second guessing her mindset
In love with someone who will never understand her love
Hating her life
Trapped

Silence

Mentally never healing
Her soul lost to a darkness
Lights blinding her
A tight grip around her throat
Pain turns to numbness
Tear drops fall
2 seconds is all she has
Leaping through any opportunity
Having a pen point of hope
Writing to save herself
Danger standing behind her
Life laughing at her struggle
Praying for colors
"I am sorry"
Brokenhearted
Never found her happiness

Her.
