The true definition of beauty
Is her

Her hazel eyes when she sees
Her mouth when she smiles
Her rough, gentle hands when she holds
Her sweet voice when she speaks

She is irreplaceable
She is my rock
No one could take her place
In my heart

Her eyes see the beauty in my faults
Her mouth smiles at my jokes that aren't truly funny
Her hands hold mine through times sad and happy
Her voice sings to me
Throughout the night

She is so beautiful
She is my mother

I love her

This Poems Story

My mother is and always will be my inspiration. She has taught me strength. Ever her cancer and heart disease did not stop her from being an absolutely wonderful mother. She raised my siblings and I all alone. That takes strength! She has always put her children first. She supported me, loved me at my worst, and helped me grow into the young lady I am today. I could have never achieved anything without her. For all of this, I owe her my life.
