Her

All the tears from my eyes can't put out the fire in my heart.
No matter how deep the breaths I take are, my lungs are still filled with smoke.
The weight of the world is on my back and there's barely enough room for me to crawl and breathe and try to survive

Look up and there's a hand reaching out; further yet and I can make out a face
God, she's beautiful
I take her hand and she guides me away

We bound past the moon and run for the stars
My mind is thinking a million thoughts per minute
'Look into her eyes'
'Take her hand'
'Kiss her'
'Never let her go'

And I did
