Her Bloodline

I sense it.
That ancient power,
rushing through my veins.

I savor it.
It's linked to antiquity.
My eyes have seen the impossible.
My heart knows her name.

How did I receive it?
this knowledge that led me here.
She was my ancient mother,
and I'm taking her place.

Her blood course within me.
I now speak in her tongue.
This throne is my birthright.
I am declared as her daughter.

This crown upon my head
shows you who I became.
I shall follow in her footsteps,
and I will shine as her descendant.
