Her home

She is born – In her parent’s home,
She gets showered with all their love
She’s their gem, their lucky star
And all that’s good came her way..
She got all that she ever asked
But one thing she never grasped -
The hard truth that she's a bubble drop
The hard truth that they’ll let her go …

She is sent – To a home elsewhere,
She gets welcomed by all at once.
She is told, that she’s their own and
So she believed them as her own
She gave all that she ever could
She gave-up all that she ever had…

But - When she sat at the table once,
When she spoke the truth aloud,
She was muted with a blow on face -
That she has rights only at ‘Her Own Home’!

And then she wondered –
Where’s her home,
Will she ever find her ‘Own'?
