Her Red Lips

She Was Beautiful
One of the most Beautiful people i've ever seen
Her eyes the shape of almonds and her little button nose
She pushed her reading glasses up as she continued to apply
Her Red Lipstick

She turned around "How do I look" she asked me
She looked amazing She was always so stunning
"Beautiful" I said with a wide smile
She nodded and continued to fix herself up

I looked around the dim lit room
It seemed as though the light only shined on her
Looking around the familiar room everything was red
She loved red any shade of Red that is
Maroon,Burgundy,Light Red, Dark Red you name it

She Fluffed her hair
and slid on her high heels, I looked up to her
She was like my hero, just with no cape
No logo, No Signal to shine when i was in trouble

She rubbed her red lips together and looked at me through the mirror
Smiling I smiled back and said "I love you mama"
She walked towards me leaving her scent behind
Leaving a mark from her red lips upon my cheek
Reapplying her red lips she finally spoke "I love more little one"
