Her Sadness

She cries like the
climax of a dramatic
fiction story.
The conflict is known, but there's a
strong need to understand the solution.
The characters are established, and
relationships are known,
but curiosity is high,
and answers are low.
She knows it'll all be over soon,
but she needs to push through.
Page by page, she needs
more and more strength to survive.
An emptiness fills her,
and she longs for a happy ending.
