Here Cometh Eid

Here Cometh Eid
Ramadan’s last day had passed at last,
For that we no more need to fast.
Eid has come, last month was but a flash.

Sweets and candy is what we crave,
Family and neighbors are visiting us all day.
Ramadan’s last day had passed at last.

I wait from uncles and aunts for money,
All of them go “here you go honey!”
Eid has come, last month was but a flash.

For toy stores we prance away,
Spending our cash without a care.
Ramadan’s last day had passed at last.

I smell fresh cookies from the kitchen,
For chocolate my skin is itching.
Eid has come, last month was but a flash.

Eid is as joyful as ever,
We want it to go on forever.
Ramadan’s last day had passed at last.
Eid has come, last month was but a flash.
