Here I Go

I’ll rather stay here
My deceptive side declares
Sticking in a lacking permanence of
Nothing but a muscle memory
When I know, down low
I have a lot of strength left,
Then excuse me, but
I won’t stay here
Rambling on the horizon
Miss-firing enough wrongs and rights
Into those problems flying with dust
Because a child’s upbringing
Becomes the grown adult’s lifestyle
As the Lust fades out
Faster than one season can dissipate,
And the outside view
Reeks of new beginnings
For Time moves on
With or without my soul,
So I dust off the shelves,
And I clear some room here and there
To find the World in my brain
That finally seems livable again
