Here She Comes

Here she comes
pen in hand.
Scribbling away,
while tales unfold overhead.
A magical world,
she gets to write.
Unknown places,
she gets to sight.
This world is unwritten,
ink drying in wait.
Waiting for her.
The writer.
Swift, cunning, imaginative.
Eager for the words untold.
It is her job,
ensure the story is told.
Papers fly off shelves like wings themselves have grown.
Her story,
read, fed into hungry eyes.
Stored in the memories of those who read.
That is her mission,
to inform and involve.
Her only desire.
That is to write.
