Hero or Me?

I want to be her.
The gratification and attention she gets is extravagant.
They love and adore her.
She seems bold and brave in front of millions of eyes.
She seems as though she never cries.
Her anatomy shimmers with the flash of the flicker,
The curves run deep.
She loves herself overwhelmingly.
I want to be her.
The amount of me just doesn't seem to be enough.
She's perfect without even the slightest touch.
Lord, let me compete to be such.

But, all I have is me.
Who am I to think that it is not my greatest power to be?
She tries to shine her electric light, but it's man-made.
It will dim over time.
I will shine my light in pure form.
Like sunlight, it will remain bright and fine.
Do they care for her wise thoughts?
The battles she's fought?
Is she really liberated and free?

My turn. Stay true.
I will be me.
