Heroes Fallen

It was like any other day.
It was very quiet on Pearl Harbor bay.
But then I hear loud airplanes coming in.
I look up very high as if the sky is touching my chin.

Then, just then I realized what was taking place.
Everyone holds on to something with brace.
People are running every direction.
It’s as if no one absolutely cared.

The bombs drops one by one.
It’s as if the world had spun.
I take a look at the world one last time.
I fell to the ground speechless like a mime.

After the attack the world was quiet all around.
It’s like they had dug an ants mound.
Still, today we recognize the heroes who have fallen.
But we will never forget the day Pearl Harbor happened.
