He's My Star

I wanna fly, can you take me far away?
I'm tired of reaching for stars it's consumed all of my days
The twinkling light where everybody wants to go has just
Blown out of full control
If you gave me a star to reach for I'd fly so high
This is my dreams, this is my hope, I'll take my time
this is his last ounce of dope, his star is dark and cold as it blasts to the ground
I tried to pick him up, bring up his hope
So much I lost my star, my gleaming star
I'd give everything just to see him shine
So much I was blinded by his light though his porcelain eyes
But now I get my prize, my success
For I get to see him shine for forty days and forty nights
