He’s Sorry


He said he sorry and that he will change. The words spoken by a boy that swears he won’t hurt me again, but his words never match his actions. As he fuels my body with love he also drains it with sorrow. My heart and soul tied to his like two distant paths that keep merging over and over again. I stay at the thought you might change as some days are filled with roses but then others are filled with thorns. The never ending cycle of you and me.
