Hidden Girl

By

Alone in bundles of hair contained
There alone she stayed and remained
Her inaction crazy, but not insane
Clearly she was hiding in pain

Speaking softly when she was at ease
Adequately eloquent and holding the key
Expression from depression made her free
Simple and precious, there to see

Carefully combing her protective curls
As beautiful as a sea of pearls
Quietly expressing her words in this world
So much to learn about the hidden girl
