Hidden Identity

You think that you can say those things
You think that you can hide
Alone behind that empty screen
To fill that void inside.
You curse and conjure up the lies
The truth remains unknown
Identity in which you have many
The lives you claim unknown.

You do it as a joke you say
To play a harmless game
The people who received those words
Will never be the same.

We live our lives in sorrow
Unbeknownst of the truth
We forget the goals of our tomorrow
Are robbed of free lived youth.

You take your anger out in words
They take hold of a life
They twist and turn a mind around
Like murder with a knife.

I'm a different person now
Because of what you said
Just remember that your words can hurt
Somone could end up dead.
