Hide and Seek

By Pushpam

The sun has hidden behind the clouds,
And is expecting that I seek it,
But I will not entreat it.
I love the cold,
I love the dark,
The cold has subdued my warmth
And the dark has hidden my worries.

Angry,
It sends down
Pin like showers below
And finally
Tired of itself
in loneliness
It comes out from behind the clouds
with a lure-
It's seven-colored friend,
The Rainbow.
Not always you are rewarded
for not playing,
This way.
