High Wire Act

My life is crazy, a high wire act,
I clime to the top and stand at the edge,
I smile and raise my hands in the air listing to the applause
My first step, second step, I flip and land in the center of the wire;
People gasp and cheer its scary, thrilling but someone shouts drop,
I stumble a bit enough to make me look down,
I realized the nets gone and there isn’t anyone claiming to catch me if I fall.
