High-Wires

Let's talk humanity
Measured by society and why it thinks
We should be sad

Or how I learned about equality when you said
Your best and my worst are shards from
The same wishbone

And maybe it's okay
That we will never fly

Because my sky could be your ground
And even the greatest tightrope walker
Will lose their balance someday
