Hiking Trail

I venture into the world,
The world of memories,
The world of summer trees,
Grazing my skin with its cedar smelled breeze,
What magnificent beauty,
These great cedar giants,
Who live on these limestone mountains,
Silent,
With tales yet untold.
These rivers that flow,
Like crystal fountains,
Glistening reflections,
Of earth's great perfection,
Here one is welcomed,
To wander,
To be lost,
To sit and ponder,
Welcomed to escape from reality.
Into a world that seems like a dream,
Too good to be true.
