Hindrances of Hope

Hope never does last forever,
It always ends when you fail,
The ultimatum of every endeavour,
The lacklustre hatred prevails,

The wishes you make as you snivel,
Are sent far up into the air,
The parallels drawn by the devil,
As he sends it back in a snare,

The freedom of not knowing the future,
The ideas you get in your mind,
The needle sewing the sutures,
Are laced with cyanide,

A ladder, you cant see the top,
The rungs made of glass and rust,
The glint in your eye never stops,
As the screws betray your blind trust,

Hope always does last forever,
It comes back every time,
If you lose it you're free from the feathers,
That tickle your itching to try.
