His Sacrifice

Shaky hands and shaky knees,
carried the cross to where my Savior died for me
Broken lives, and lives lost,
crown of thorns was the cost
Nails in His wrists,
blood on the ground,
tear-stained faces dotting the crowd
You lay down your life, I'll give up mine
You became sin, to cleanse my life
Ask you into my heart, ask you into my life
If I rejected Your gift, I'd be living a lie
I'll praise You again, and cry out to you,
please speak to their hearts,
and save their lives
Praise be to the Almighty God,
and His Son,Jesus Christ,
who He bestowed to the whole
world to die for our sins,
Glory forever and ever to His Holy Name,
Amen.
