His Will

The cardinal has a song to sing
resounding through the trees.
The sweet melodies echoing
so faintly in the breeze.

The blue jay speaks so loud and clear.
He has to have his way.
He flies around both far and near,
so boldly through the day.

We, too, are busy, here and then,
with all life's busy chores.
We try; we fail; we lose; we win,
and choose between life's doors.

God's plan for us is seldom clear.
But if we hope and pray,
He takes away our every fear,
and brightens every day.

The cardinal sings his song for all,
resounding God's great love.
The blue jay makes us hear God's call,
to turn and look above.
