Hiver Noir

I do not know how winter will be
With a summer that I shall never see.
I do not know how night will be
With a day that I shall never see.
I do not know how life will be
With a light that I shall never see.
I think of how life will be
With a pain that lasts eternally.

In every night there’s an absence of light.
In every night I see only life’s blight.
In every winter there’s a different black.
In every winter I wish I could go back.

I do not know how life will be
With a death that I shall never see.
I do not know why life must be
A life that lasts eternally.
I do not know how life will be
With a death that I shall never see.
I do not know why life must be
Only pain that lasts eternally.
