Looking in the mirror, what do I see?
A Hollow Shell that use to be me.
I once was a woman who had so much pride.
But along the way, that woman died.
Hidden so deep, I can't crawl out.
But I do not cry, I do not pout.
As the rain beats down and the shadows come,
The clouds move by to cover the sun.
Ten years ago, I had a life.
A caring mother, a devoted wife.
Who is this woman that I've become today?
Somewhere , somehow I lost my way.
Screaming in agony while I pretend not to care.
But whoever said that life was fair?
Who will love this Hollow Shell?
Rescue me from this life of Hell.
Can you look past the things I've done?
Push back the darkness, bring out the sun.
Before I wither and fade away.
This road to darkness will end I pray.
