Hollowed Hopes

leaves of the old willow
fall short of ever lasting grace
with seeds of doubt firmly planted
they stitch hope to a hopeless face

yet they cry aloud together
soft words that ring true forever

"save me from broken dreams
believe me we chased safety!
save me from hollowed hopes
believe me if it helps you cope!"
