Home Is Calling

Do you know the way back?
I didn't pay attention
Never wanted to
Go home
Do you know the way back?
Would you tell me
If you did?
Nothing's changed
Since I was a kid
I don't want to go back
I can feel the pull
Something's leading me
So much for free will
If I go back
It will be on my
Own terms
Every time I leave
I say no more
I do not learn
The stains
They don't wash out
The cracks
Will never mend
Each a remembrance
Of the scars
That line my head
