Home

Why are you crying?
You shouldn't shed a tear,
Just because I'm not here
I'm still here close and near
Even though you can't have
My shoulder to cry on
I'll always be here for you to lean,
I'll listen when you talk
I may not answer from the start
We'll never be far apart,
Never lose your hope or faith
I may answer you a certain way
Even though I had to go
I feel no pain and no sorrow
It was time for me to move on
To my new home where I belong
Until we meet again
I want you to hold my heart in your hand
Hold it gently, hold it firm
For my heart can fill the world
My time has come for me to go
Where I'll wait for you to show
Home with me where we shall be
Together again gracefully.
