Hope and Faith
Above the hill a little girl lives
Sad and alone
The ones she loved has flown away
So with all her might she tries not to cry
And has hope and faith instead
Now a teen, on her own
Her checkups make her shake
Fearing any words that the Dr. may say
Already prepared for the measures she will have to take
She leaves with a smile of gratefulness
And has hope and faith instead
Into adulthood she's happy and free
Now going to do her monthly routine
She's strong and brave, with no worries at all
The results are read and then she falls
She smiles and exists the very cold office
And looked for hope and faith instead
Around the right bold age of 25
Is when she put her biggest fight
The disease took over
And her body got colder
No tears arrived
And then she died
With hope and faith instead
