Hoped

Everyday you make me smile,
with your simple wave and simple hi
when you look at me from a distance
my heart pounds in an instance

I walked towards you with my head down
then looked up and turned around
I tried to stop my tears from falling
But I can't somehow stop my heart from breaking

I never knew it would hurt like this
how come I never noticed
that the smiles you've given me
wasn't mine to begin with
