Hospital

Home to some
Dreaded by others
Stories begin and ended
Hearts were replaced
And blood was thinned
But the fight for life would longer extend

It seemed the waiting was the worst
The questions
The doctors
The meds
It seemed that each life was reversed
To new expectations, new methods
Changing times
Breaking records

Doctors in for minutes
And out for millions
Sometimes only caring for the patient
Not the person
As if they weren’t even worth it

For what is a life worth
When its already dying
What is a bird worth when its not flying
People die and go everyday
But why must we disvalue it any less
What happened to loving others
Till their last breath?
